There are all kinds of filters and blockers that are meant to protect from and prevent internet abuse. What do you think about them? What kinds of filters should be in schools? Does it matter what grade kids are in?
I feel as though that the school should have to protest us from google image. there a lot of stuff on google image that is not appropriate for school. Patrick U.
Jake G. here and I think that websites should be blocked, but only you should see if it is inappropriate and harsh word using websites not just the ones teachers pick. You can't just block a website that you don't like, well you can but you should not.
Shane W. here and I think that fire walls and k9 protection should do the trick to keep every kid safe whitch should make kids feel safer, and I think it doesn't matter what grade kids are in websites that are innapropriate should be blocked.
I think that the Internet filters in our school are a great thing. In school, we're here to learn, not to mess around. I think filters that should be in schools should be on anything that could be harmful to the students. I think that the grade kids are in does affect what children go on. I think that it is smart to block us from iniprpriate thing that we should never see. I think that the kind that protects younger kids from not for their age level like K9 web protecting filter. Yes, younger kids should not say, see, or hear something that they learn on the internet that they are not suppose to know.
As students i feel that we should be trusted with the responsibliity of going on the internet. Without being blockes with a internet saftey such as K9 Web protection.We go to a catholisc school, as cristians we are tought to do as Jesus would do. We are suposed to be trusted. It is not fair for the internet to be blocked. Yes, there is the question should we put different internet for differnet ages. I do agree with this. But thier should not be so much protection that we can't surf the web and be resticted from learning. Patrick U
I think that internet safty is good for little kids 1st-4th grade. We probly could handle Flicker,Facebook, Myspace,and things like that but you never know what people are thinking. Thats what i think of internet safty Carly

It matters what grade you are in when a pop-up comes on your computer because they child might click on the pop-up. Sometimes if the pop-up might say you win some money, but if you click the saying you might have to pay that amount of money. Thank you, Gugu

I agree with Patrick and Carly because yes internet websites should be blocked but they shouldn't be blocked because we are mature enough to know what websites are good and whitch are not, also if a teacher catches you on a website that you are not supposed to be on you get a demerate

I think that if the internet was not protective that little kids could go on google and they might look up something. They might click on something and if might not be very safe. So if you are protective on thre internet than if something is bad it will block it. It does matter what grades because we don't want little kids on something that is not good. so the grades that should not be blocked is 5th and up because i thnk that we could be very moratge about it and wil not do anything bad. I think that the internet has so many things on google and other websites that we cannot contain. I think that internet safety is necassary for only things for the immature eyes and minds. Of course there are some things that are not needed for internet safety like this blogging site, kids may explore and discover thoughts and share thier minds as well.I think every school or grade should should have a password everytime they log into maybe a not so sure protected website.It definantly depends on what mature level as well as upper grade levels you are to go on different things because like I said they arent for all eyes.Mia R.
